Statesmen Theatre Presents “Julius Caesar” Nov. 2-5
This Thursday, Statesmen Theatre presents Julius Caesar! Set in an exclusive all-girls boarding school, this will be a modern rendition of one of the most famous of Shakespeare’s plays. While staying true to the original, in this presentation, instead of a focus on politics and war, audiences will see a play about decisions teenagers make and how they see the outcomes and consequences of their actions. This interpretation of the Bard promises to resonate with all audiences in a way that is relevant and entertaining!

Shows are on November 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7:30pm plus matinees on Saturday, November 4th at 2:30pm and on Sunday, November 5th at 3:00pm.

Tickets are on sale online for your convenience and also can be bought at the Box Office before each performance..
Visit our website for advance purchases and additional information.

International Night is Nov. 16th!

Help Sponsor the Fields of Honor for Veteran’s Day

The GCM Class of 2019 will continue the tradition started last Memorial Day and create Fields of Honor on Veteran’s and Memorial Day holidays this year.
Please support the Field of Honor and our class by sponsoring a flag (s) to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military or to recognize the service of a veteran or an active duty service member.
For each flag sold, we will make a donation to Serving Together.  In addition, at your request, we will send an e-card to the family or the honoree to let them know a flag was planted in their honor.
1 Flag at Veteran’s Day – $5
5 Flags at Veteran’s Day – $20
5 Flags at Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day Fields of Honor – $35

By November 3rd:
  • Login to pay4schoolstuff.com and select Field of Honor to purchase your flags OR
  • Complete a FORM and send it with a check to GCM ATTN: Field of Honor.
We hope our Field of Honor will continue to inspire all who drive by Marshall High School.

Practice ACT Test Nov. 7th

Want something to fill the long quarter-end break weekend?  How about signing your student up to take a REAL practice ACT.  What could be a more meaningful way to start off Election Day (November 7) then by taking a practice ACT.
It will help:
1)      Decide the age old question of ACT v. SAT;
2)      Provide practice for the real deal whenever your student decides
           to take the exam; and
3)      It will help the Class of 2019 raise much needed funds for Prom.
Date:  Tuesday, November 7
Time:  9:00 am – 1:00 pm (please have your student come around 8:45 so we can get started at 9:00 am.)
Location:  Marshall HS Rooms D201& D203.
Limit to the first 50 applicants.  If you took the test on September 22, please do not sign up again as it will be the same practice exam.
Please pay ($30) and register HERE.
The test will be administered by Kate Dalby of Inspiring Test Preparation . Ms. Dalby will score the tests and email or call you with the results.  You can then compare the scores with your PSAT scores from prior years and determine which test is best for you.
You can also meet face-to-face with a test prep expert from Inspiring Test Preparation to help you with this decision for free.
